A next-generation memory roadmap
Micron showcased its next-generation DRAM and NAND products aimed at upcoming client and enterprise solutions. The company framed its multigenerational roadmap, close customer co-design and long-term research as the basis for extending its leadership across DRAM, HBM and NAND.
DDR6 and LPDDR6
DDR6 doubles bandwidth compared with DDR5, while LPDDR6 for mobile devices promises 35% better power efficiency. Both will be built on Micron's upcoming 1δ DRAM node. The company also said it offers 1 TB RDIMM memory modules today.
vHBM and G11 NAND
The roadmap also includes vertical vHBM and G11 NAND beyond 400 layers. Micron acknowledged that memory demand rises with each wave of AI, positioning these products for both client and enterprise markets.
