Google trains on paid Gemini subscribers' chats too
A post trending on Hacker News says Google uses the Gemini chat history of personal Google AI subscribers to train its models. Google's own support pages confirm that with 'Keep Activity' on, chats are used to improve services including model training, and that a subset is read by human reviewers. Reviewed chats are retained for up to three years even if the user deletes their activity.
