Meta rolls out real-time voice chat and animated avatars for Muse in the US
Meta has opened real-time voice chat and animated avatar features for its AI assistant Muse to users in the US. First shown at Meta Connect 2026 in September, the feature relies on the company's Muse Realtime Avatar and Muse Realtime Voice technologies. Users can change the avatar's voice and style and see facial expressions and gestures in real time during conversation.
