Hundreds of Mundane AI Apps Are Hiding Sexually Abusive Deepfake Features
A WIRED investigation found that around 400 apps and websites linked to Chinese-language developers appear to be ordinary AI tools but contain hidden features that let users create violent AI-generated images and video. The apps enable sexually abusive deepfake content.
