ChatGPT Is Feeding Voters Misinformation Ahead of the Midterms
A Washington Post review of 3,000 AI-generated voter guides found chatbots frequently giving false election information. ChatGPT added a Senate seat not up for election in a Missouri guide, and bots failed to identify the correct congressional district for an address 48 percent of the time. A Pew survey found only 8 percent of US voters use AI chatbots for ballot information.
