USA Today sues OpenAI over copyright, seeking more than $250 million
USA Today Co. and several local newspapers it owns are suing OpenAI, alleging the company copied "hundreds of thousands" of articles to train its AI models. The publisher is seeking more than $250 million in damages. The suit is the latest in a string of copyright cases against OpenAI.
