What was found
Hours before Apple is expected to unveil a new MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen, a leaker spotted visual elements tied to the Dynamic Island inside macOS 27. The finding strengthens expectations that the display will drop the notch in favor of a Dynamic Island.
Siri AI expectations
According to the leak, Siri AI is also expected to use a droplet-like design similar to the iPhone, expanding from the Dynamic Island. This points to a consistent experience between Mac and iPhone.
Why it matters
Apple long kept its distance from touchscreen Macs. A touchscreen MacBook Pro would mark a significant shift in the company's approach to the Mac.
A cautious note
The details are not official yet and rest on pre-launch leaks and expectations. Final specifications will be confirmed at Apple's event.
