Twenty House Democrats press OpenAI over fired safety researchers
Twenty House Democrats have sent OpenAI CEO Sam Altman a letter asking the company to commit to protecting whistleblowers who share safety information and to keep its pause on its most capable models until independent oversight is in place. The letter, dated 29 October, was led by Texas Representative Greg Casar.
