MUGEM carrier set to deploy unmanned air, surface and underwater vehicles together
Turkey's Naval Forces Commander Adm. Ercument Tatlioglu said the 60,000-ton MUGEM carrier under construction will be the first to deploy unmanned aerial, surface and underwater vehicles together. Construction began at Istanbul Naval Shipyard in January 2025, with hull launch planned for September 2027 and delivery in 2032.
