Ofcom names four age checks for the UK's under-16 social media ban
UK regulator Ofcom has named four age-check methods it says can reliably tell whether social media users are 16 or over. The checks will underpin the UK's under-16 social media ban due next year, and many adults will have to pass them too, according to the assessment published on Thursday.
