Anthropic donates Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation
Anthropic said it is donating its Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), which operates under the Linux Foundation. The company aims to keep the standard open, community-driven and vendor-neutral. AAIF was co-founded last year with Block and OpenAI and already hosts the Model Context Protocol specification.
