Nvidia reportedly halts RTX 5090 production as capacity shifts to AI GPUs
A leaked factory notice claims Nvidia has stopped shipping GB202 processors for GeForce RTX 5090 cards, including China-only 'D' variants. The silicon is said to be reserved for data center and professional GPUs, with the RTX 5080 24GB floated as the new gaming flagship. Nvidia has not commented.
