Google opens Android Studio to third-party AI agents
Google added a "Bring Your Own Agent" feature to Android Studio, letting developers use more than 40 coding agents including Anthropic's Claude Agent and OpenAI's Codex. The company says new terminal tools complete UI tasks 77 percent faster with up to three times fewer tokens, and it also unveiled new Gemini APIs.
