CrowdStrike is adding two AI security companies to its portfolio. The company said on Tuesday, 3 November, at its Fal.Con Europe conference in Barcelona that it had agreed to acquire Fiddler AI and Dreadnode. The financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

What the two companies do

  • Fiddler AI: Tracks what AI agents do and why, providing observability and explainability for model decisions.
  • Dreadnode: Tests AI models, applications and agents for weaknesses before they are deployed.

Together, the two cover both monitoring AI agents and probing them for vulnerabilities.

Why it matters

Companies are increasingly putting AI agents into business processes. Seeing what those agents do and testing whether they can be abused has become a new priority for security teams. With these acquisitions, CrowdStrike aims to add an AI-focused layer alongside its traditional endpoint security business.

The source does not say when the deals are expected to close or how Fiddler and Dreadnode products will be integrated into CrowdStrike's portfolio.
