EU negotiates sanction swap with China to rescue ASML supplier
The EU is in talks with China to lift restrictions on Sindlhauser Materials GmbH, a German coatings firm in ASML's supply chain, to prevent it from going out of business. According to Bloomberg, the EU could remove restrictions on an unnamed Chinese firm accused of aiding Russia in return. The deal was discussed during EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič's visit to Beijing.
