EU cyber agency ENISA and research centre JRC are testing Chinese AI models
According to Politico, the EU's cybersecurity agency ENISA and the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) have begun testing open-weight AI models from China. Three EU officials confirmed the work, marking the first time either body has publicly acknowledged it. Open-weight models are released in full, so anyone can download, run and study them.
