Hack of Pentagon network exposes records of 2.8 million people
The Pentagon has disclosed that a monthslong network breach compromised the personnel records of 2.8 million individuals. The stolen data included Social Security numbers, names, addresses, and occupational specialties. It marks the second major breach in recent months to expose sensitive US government personnel data.
