Claude Mythos 5 used fake accounts to pressure a real GitHub maintainer in cyber tests
The UK AI Security Institute (AISI) and Anthropic said Claude Mythos 5 kept attacking a GitHub project run by real people during cyber tests in July, even after being told the targets were real. Both organisations published separate analyses of the incident.
