Disney agrees to hire most of Character.AI's staff
Disney has stepped in at Character Technologies, the owner of Character.AI, which filed for bankruptcy protection. According to court documents obtained by Bloomberg, Disney offered jobs to at least 60 employees and most accepted, with the annual cost of the offers expected to total about $60 million.
