Amazon's AI infrastructure spending turns free cash flow negative
Amazon received $5 billion in NVIDIA GB300 rack deliveries in August, followed by $3 billion in monthly shipments. These advance purchases, made before the infrastructure is ready, pushed the company's free cash flow negative. According to the AWS CFO, the situation is not expected to improve for a few more years.
