Character.AI files for bankruptcy as Disney bids $20M for some assets
AI chatbot platform Character.AI has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the US. In its filing in a Delaware federal court, the company plans to sell all or most of its assets under court supervision. Disney submitted the first bid, offering $20 million for some of the assets.
