In-flight target update

SİPER Ürün-2, one of the critical components of Turkey's multi-layered Çelik Kubbe air defense architecture, demonstrated a new capability in its latest firing test. After being launched, the domestic air defense missile changed its target via command during flight and precisely destroyed the newly defined threat.

Why it matters

This capability lets the missile respond to updated threat information mid-flight instead of locking onto a single target set before launch. The report frames this as evidence of the software and operational agility Turkey's defense industry has reached.

Its place in Çelik Kubbe

SİPER Ürün-2 is positioned as the long-range shield of Turkey's multi-layered air defense network. A missile able to change targets in flight increases defensive flexibility against moving or newly emerging threats.
