A full redesign
Apple will announce a fully redesigned MacBook Pro next week. According to 9to5Mac, it will be a major upgrade over the current model.
One catch
The report says the device will lag expectations in "one key area," but the source text does not say which area that is; the details sit in the full article.
Why it matters
The MacBook Pro is Apple's flagship laptop for professional users. A full chassis redesign arrives only every few years, so the announcement matters to anyone planning a new machine.
Managing expectations
It's a familiar pattern before launches: a strong upgrade pitch can be overshadowed by a single missing feature. Exact specs and pricing will have to wait for Apple's event.
