Apps built for a foldable screen
Apple said apps and games optimized for iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone, will be available starting this Friday. The announcement was published on Apple Newsroom.
According to the company, users will be able to discover app and game experiences adapted to the foldable form factor of iPhone Duo. Apple described these as "incredible new app experiences."
What it means
On foldable phones, apps need to work properly when the screen folds or unfolds and adapt to different screen sizes. Apple's announcement indicates that developers have made iPhone Duo-specific adaptations.
Apple did not share details on which apps and games were optimized or what new features they offer.
