What happened
Apple said Apple Intelligence will become available in China. As part of the announcement, the company confirmed that its next iOS developer beta will be released next week.
Why it stands out
Apple typically does not share beta release dates in advance. Confirming the schedule this time appears directly tied to the timing of the China rollout.
Apple Intelligence and China
Apple Intelligence covers Apple's on-device and cloud-based AI features. China is among the markets where AI features require a separate preparation process due to local regulations.
What's next
The iOS 27.3 beta due next week will let developers test the new version early. The announcement did not include further details on the beta or a precise date for the China launch.
