US restarts three nuclear reactors to power AI data centers
Three long-shut US nuclear reactors are being brought back online, expected to add 2.25 GW of capacity to the grid. Microsoft is the main customer at Pennsylvania's Three Mile Island Crane site, while Google partners with NextEra on Iowa's Duane Arnold plant.
