IBM opens its 0.7nm Nanostack process to chip designers, with design kits due in Q1 2027
IBM will start offering process development kits (PDKs) for its 0.7-nanometer Nanostack chip manufacturing technology to chip designers in the first quarter of 2027. The move is meant to let companies get familiar with the technology before widespread adoption. The 0.7nm node is positioned as an extension of the 2nm process now in mass production.
