A major MacBook Pro overhaul
Apple is gearing up for a comprehensive redesign of its MacBook Pro lineup. According to the latest issue of the Power On newsletter, the next-generation MacBook Pro will have a "significantly lighter" chassis compared to previous models.
A series of firsts
The new MacBook Pro is expected to debut within a month. It will be Apple's first touchscreen MacBook. It will also be the first to use Tandem OLED display technology. Tandem OLED stacks two OLED layers to deliver higher brightness and longer display lifespan.
Why it matters
Combining a lighter build, a touchscreen, and an OLED panel could mark a major step forward for the MacBook Pro in terms of portability and display quality. Apple's move may reshape expectations for professional users.
