Full stack at work in the UK
NVIDIA unveiled a broad package of compute and partnerships for the UK's AI ecosystem. The company committed $250 million in compute over five years to strengthen the country's agentic safety and security research. Through BOLD at the University of Oxford, SOFAIR at UCL and Imperial College London, it will provide $50 million in accelerated computing access annually.
NVIDIA also joined the Earthshot Prize as a Global Alliance Founding Partner, aiming to bring compute and technical expertise to innovators tackling climate and sustainability challenges.
Sector deployments
In energy, Fuse Energy is moving its customer AI onto in-house infrastructure built on NVIDIA B300 Blackwell Ultra, serving more than 450,000 UK households. Sovereign AI company Locai Labs released Nemotron-Personas-UK, an open source dataset of one million synthetic personas representing the UK's demographic and cultural diversity.
In healthcare, OneAdvanced is deploying a primary care AI-triage model built with NVIDIA Agent Toolkit software and open models for NHS patients. Heidi integrated NVIDIA Nemotron open models to give clinicians faster access to medical evidence. Speechmatics is deploying Oak, a multilingual medical speech recognition model, using NVIDIA Triton Inference. Apian, SYNLAB and NVIDIA are teaming up to use NVIDIA Cosmos for digital simulations of hospital robots moving lab samples.
Cities, finance and quantum
Liverpool City Region is building an NVIDIA-powered "City Brain," while Digital Jersey, Innovation City Belfast and Tees Valley Combined Authority explore how trusted AI compute can serve public services. In finance, LSEG and NVIDIA are bringing GPU-accelerated market analytics to global institutions; Revolut's PRAGMA foundation model for banking event sequences has moved from research to real-time scaling. Lloyds Banking Group built ATUM, and Starling is developing a banking foundation model on Civo's UK sovereign cloud. NatWest is collaborating on Nemotron Voice, while Modulr is deploying Nemotron-based agents for payment operations. In quantum, Riverlane showed how GPUs can accelerate error correction.
