Investors want a lower valuation

British AI cloud company Nscale is targeting a valuation of roughly $30bn for its planned New York listing. According to Bloomberg's Sunday report, a group of investors is pushing back on that figure.

$16bn-$19bn range floated

Those investors told Bloomberg that a valuation between $16bn and $19bn would be more likely to attract buyers — roughly half of the company's target.

No decision yet

According to the report, no decisions have been made and Nscale has not formally announced the IPO. The valuation debate could directly affect the timing and final price range of any listing.
