A separate iOS for the iPhone Duo
Apple is reported to be working on a dedicated iOS version for its foldable phone, the iPhone Duo. According to the report, people who start using the device will first need to install the iOS 27.1 update.
Why a separate version?
Foldable screens, a body that opens and closes, and two different display sizes require a software layout that differs from standard phones. Apple is said to be preparing a dedicated iOS version for the iPhone Duo for this reason.
