Verifying model identity
Anthropic is working on a system called FlashProve that aims to prove which model an AI response came from. According to the company, the system would let anyone check whether a response actually belongs to the model it claims to be from.
Why it matters
Impersonation of AI models and fake responses are a serious trust problem. A verification mechanism like FlashProve could help model providers and users confirm the source of responses.
Early stage
According to TechCrunch, the system is still in development. Anthropic did not share details on when FlashProve will be available or how it will work.
