Multi-agent orchestration arrives
Anthropic has added a new capability called dynamic workflows to its Claude Managed Agents product. In this setup, a lead agent can break down a task and distribute it across up to 1,000 sub-agents at once.
Test results
In the company's tests, a single agent found at most 27 of 70 hidden bugs in a codebase. When the same task was given to the multi-agent workflow, it caught 66. This shows that parallel work markedly improves bug-finding performance.
What it means
Dynamic workflows let large, complex tasks be carried out by interconnected teams of agents instead of a single agent. With this step, Anthropic is aiming to let enterprise users deploy agents at scale.
