Fee rises to 69,358 TL
The IMEI registration fee required to use phones brought from abroad in Turkey has been set at 69,358 TL for 2027. The increase is driven by the 27.83 percent revaluation rate announced for the year.
Compared with last year
The same fee was 54,258 TL in 2026. The new figure shows roughly a quarter increase over the previous year's amount.
What is IMEI registration?
IMEI is the unique identity number of every phone. To use a device brought from abroad on local networks, that number must be registered in the system and the fee paid. Registration is handled through the e-Devlet portal.
Who is affected
It concerns anyone bringing a phone from abroad or wanting to use a device bought overseas in Turkey. The fee is a fixed amount charged regardless of the device's own price.
